one time i got locked on a rooftop during a first date. sounds like a joke? nah it’s true. we met at this little bar downtown, she was into photography and suggested we go to this secret spot she knew to take pics of the skyline. sounded cool, so i agreed. we climbed up through this sketchy fire escape, got to the roof, and the view was amazing. but then the door slammed shut behind us. locked. we spent two hours up there, sittin on the ledge, talkin about everything from music to our favorite food. finally, some security guy heard us yellin and let us out. we laughed about it, but man, i thought that was the end of that date. turns out, she loved the adventure. we’re still friends to this day.
